A martial art, combat sport, and a self defense system that focuses on grappling and especially ground fighting. It teaches that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend against a bigger, stronger assailant by using leverage and proper technique – most notably by applying joint-locks and choke-holds to defeat the other person. BJJ training can be used for sport grappling tournaments, mixed martial arts (MMA) competition or self defense. Sparring (commonly referred to as "rolling") and live drilling play a major role in training, and a premium is placed on performance, especially in competition, in relation to progress and ascension through its ranking system.

Muay Thai is referred to as the "Art of Eight Limbs" or the "Science of Eight Limbs" because it makes use of punches, kicks, elbows and knee strikes, thus using eight "points of contact", as opposed to "two points" (fists) in boxing and "four points" (hands and feet) used in other more regulated combat sports, such as kickboxing and boxing.

Nathan “Natural Nate” Amado is the founder (originator) of Original Human Movement. As a Online Health Coach, Master MovNat Trainer, and Jiu Jitsu enthusiast, he helps people unlock their bodies & minds so they can unlock their true potential.
While he didn’t play much sports growing up, he grew up very active in a variety of activities. His could rollerblade before he could walk, and his dad even hung him up on the bars before he could talk -- where he would just hang, and hang, and hang (see OHM logo). After a period of molding into our modern sedentary society, his passion for movement was re-sparked with high school wrestling. From there he went full force on the movement movement, exploring everything from Yoga to MMA, Tai Chi to Boxing, Qi Gong to Art Du Déplacement/Parkour, Capoeira to La Methode Naturelle, which led right into MovNat. He knew, after seeing “The Workout the World Forgot”, that “This is it!” This was the most complete system of training. This was what he wanted to do for the rest of his life.
He went on to receive his Level 1 MovNat Certification in 2014, Level 2 & Combatives in 2016, Level 3 in 2017, and Aquatics in 2018, earning the rare title of a Master MovNat Trainer. As a hungry student of life he kept on exploring and learning from the best of the best, earning his Primal Health Coaching Certification, The Human Path Scout Certification, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Purple Belt (while coaching kids for 3+ years now), and he continues to be a dedicated student/practitioner of Art Du Déplacement/Parkour, the Wim Hof Method, Gracie Combatives, Invisible/Hidden Jiu Jitsu, various Martial Arts, Nutritious Movement, Meditation, and much more.
He lives by the phrase, and helps others: "Move, Eat, Rest, Play, Live... like a Human."
